ORIS is delighted to announce Milestone Systems as an official Investigation Partner for ORIS-CON 2027, the new immersive risk event designed to challenge traditional conference formats and create a far more operationally focused industry experience.
Taking place in 2027, ORIS-CON is being developed around a live investigation narrative, combining real-world operational challenges, intelligence-led decision making, interactive environments and collaborative problem solving across the retail security and loss prevention sector.
As an Investigation Partner, Milestone Systems will play a key role within the wider investigation experience, helping shape elements of the operational narrative and demonstrating how technology, intelligence and integrated security ecosystems support modern investigations and incident response.
The partnership reflects the growing momentum behind ORIS-CON, which has already generated significant interest across retailers, law enforcement, solution providers and wider industry stakeholders.
Sarah Bird, Partnerships & Events Manager at ORIS Media, said:
“We’re incredibly excited to welcome Milestone Systems as an Investigation Partner for ORIS-CON 2027.
One of the things that’s resonating most strongly across the industry is that we’re intentionally designing a very different type of experience with ORIS-CON, something much more immersive, collaborative and operationally relevant than a traditional conference environment.
Milestone is a globally recognised and highly respected brand within the security industry and their expertise around technology, intelligence and operational visibility will add genuine value and realism to the wider investigation experience we’re building.”
David Short, VSaaS Business Manager, EMEA at Milestone Systems said:
“We’re proud to join ORIS‑CON 2027 as an Investigation Partner and support a truly innovative approach to industry engagement. The immersive, operationally focused format reflects how modern security challenges are solved in reality, through collaboration, intelligence and technology working together. At Milestone, we’re committed to enabling open, integrated solutions that support effective investigations and real-time decision making, and we look forward to contributing to this unique experience.”
Unlike traditional exhibition-led events, ORIS-CON is being built around live operational environments including evidence rooms, command-centre concepts, interactive networking experiences and live ORIS radio-style production, all designed to create meaningful engagement, collaboration and industry discussion.
Alongside the immersive investigation format itself, the event will also explore wider industry themes including organised retail crime, AI and emerging technologies, operational resilience, intelligence sharing, investigations and the future direction of the industry.
ORIS-CON 2027 will bring together retailers, law enforcement, investigators, solution providers and industry professionals from across the sector for a unique and highly interactive industry experience.
Further Investigation Partners and event announcements will be revealed over the coming weeks.
